Erik, a New York native, (originally from the Bronx) was the only member of O-Town to have actually auditioned in Orlando. Since he had moved to Palm Bay, FL sometime earlier while still in his high school career, and had still been living in the area at the time of auditions, he auditioned for the band in Orlando.
