O-TOWN’S CRIMINAL RECORD!
O-Town's Ashley Angel has confessed to Worldpop that he once got in
trouble with the police for arson.
Speaking to worldpop Ashley confessed: 'I got a misdemeanor charge
when I was about 10 because I burned down the soccer field at Elementary
School, and the fire spread to some neighboring people's yards.'
The stars of Channel 4's Making The Band release their new single,
Love Should Be A Crime this week but when we quizzed the guys about any past
crimes we were unaware of their murky past.
Singer Jacob played innocent, claiming his biggest crime was,
'leaving home.' While Dan took the honest option, he said, 'I've never been in
any trouble but once I got a detention at school.'
Erik-Michael Estrada opted to remain tight-lipped, saying, 'I'm not
saying without a lawyer present.' Although Ashley hinted that Erik's past was
also a chequered one. 'Erik is the biggest villain in this group.'
Ashley also cleared up the confusion with their 'manager' Lou
Pearlman. 'Our relationship is pretty much non-existent,' said Ashley. 'I
think people were confused about our relationship with Lou. He never was our
manager. He was very much involved with Making The Band, particularly in the
selection process. But that was the end of it. When we started to decide on a
manager that's when Backstreet and 'N Sync were involved with lawsuits with him
so common sense and our lawyers said that picking him was not a smart
decision.'
