Jacob is married - and his boys are nearly as happy as Janie!

He did it! At a ceremony under the sun of California and surrounded
by his family and friends, the O-Town singer married his one love...

It was a very special wedding. Jacob Christopher Underwood (22) and
his one true love Janie Russell (21) didn't marry in a church, but open-
air on his grandfather's compound in San Diego. Even the wedding
outfits that they both wore were unusual: Instead of a tux, Jacob wore a
white Hawaiian shirt with flowers embroidered onto it and white trousers. Janie
didn't wear a usual wedding dress either, but a short, white, beautiful
summer dress. "I don't like outrageous weddings. That's why we wanted to
keep our wedding normal", says the O-Town singer. Only relatives and friends were invited, but if you consider, that Jacob has "only" 38 cousins, you don't wonder, why about 400 guests were there. Also Jacob’s band mates, who all wore jeans and a shirt attended, as well as band member Ashley’s good friend, Shelli!

But during the 20 minute lasting ceremony, everything was romantic and traditional. When Janie was led to the small wedding stage in the middle of all the guests by her father, Paul, you could tell that the "cool" Jacob was tensioned. But as soon as he gave his wife the
ring and was allowed to kiss her, he was relieved.

Jacob: "I wanted to marry Janie for so long. Today, my biggest dream came true."
The married couple showed that they really are "one heart and one soul" especially at the following party. They didn't stop hugging each other and they fed each other the green (!) wedding cake, which was decorated with little silver monkeys. But instead of going on honeymoon, Jacob had to go back to work: Rehearsals with O-Town. Jacob: "Although I'm married now, I'll still be a big part of the band. I promise!"
