State Patches
Just Fill Out Your Patch Sheet and You Will Some of These Patches
At this time the STATE offers the following patches:

4-H Project Patch- You must be in the dog project for at least 6 months and show your dog at one event.

4-H Junior Showmanship Champion Patch- You must place first in showmanship at least five times, with at least four people in the class.

4-H Junior Showmanhip Champion Excellent Patch- You must place first in Champion 4-H class or AKC Open Showmanship at least five times, with at least four people in the class, or be Best Junior Handler/Showman with at least four entered.

4-H Pre-Novice Patch- You must earn three qualifying scores by three different judgings. (at least 170 points or more and at least 50% of each excercise) in Pre-Novice obedience.

4-H Companion Dog Patch- Same as above except in Novice obedience

4-H Graduate Novice Patch- Same as above except in Graduate Novice obedience.

4-H Advanced Graduate Novice Patch- Same as above except in Advanced Graduate Novice obedience.

4-H Companion Dog Excellent Patch- Same as above except in Open obedience.

4-H Pre-Utility Patch- Same as above but in Pre-Utility obedeince

4-H Utility Dog Patch- Same as above but in Utility obedience.

4-H Tracking Dog Patch-You have to pass on a track two times with the AKC requirements by two different judges.

4-H Working Dog Patch- For a dog who has placed or has passed in three working events by three different judges; includes field trials, herding, coursing, earth dog, hunt tests, drafting, water work, etc.

Leader Dog Puppy Patch- Three judgings and/or demonstrations and return puppy to Leader Dog School.

Service Dog Puppy Patch- Three judgings and/or demonstrations and return pupy to Paws With A Cause or CCI school.

Beginner Agility Patch- You must earn three qualifying scores in Beginner Agility.

Intermediate Agility Patch- You must earn three qualifying scores in Intermediate Agility.

Advanced Agility Patch- You must earn three qualifying scores in Advanced Agility.

Visiting Pet Patch- You must visit nursing homes or any handicap event with your dog ten times.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR WRITING DOWN YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR EACH PACTH ON YOUR PATCH SHEET AND TURNING IT INTO THE PATCH CHAIRMAN
Please keep your own personal Patch Sheet record up to date. Any requirements you earn after they are due, call the Patch Chairman to let her know to add it to your Patch Sheet. You must turn in your patch sheet in order to recieve patches and awards at the Awards Banquet!
