MISSION:
OAAGHG is dedicated to encourating support for African-American genealogy and historical research.

MEETINGS:
OAAGHG meetings are held at 11:00 a.m. on the first Saturday of each month [except July] at the Oberlin Public Library, 65 S. Main Street, Oberlin, Ohio.

STATEMENT OF NON-DISCRIMINATION:
OAAGHG membership is open to anyone with an interest in African-American genealogy and history regardless of race or geographic location.

HISTORY:
OAAGHG was organized in 2000, incorporated by the State of Ohio in 2001, and recognized as a federal non-profit organization in 2002.
