Style
(Six Traits: Voice)
A piece of writing has Style when the words make youthink of a particular person and make you feel excited or emotional as if you are part of the story. The author is writing about something personal he/she knows and cares about. Often the author “becomes” a different character in order to sound authentic. Also see: Word Choice and Sentence Variety.
