Poems for/about People
All of these poems are dedicated to people I know
This one is only a once upon a time
I like too see you

I sat and watched you quietly sleep
I bent over and kissed your brow when you smiled at me
Lazily and trustingly you kept smiling as you half woke
as you rolled onto your side kissing my hand and my cheek
I layed down beside you holding you close to me

You didn't look so happy when I first entered your room
I'm glad that yoru smiling warmly now
the sun bathing your body with morning light
I like to see you happy and content
I like to see you
Forever and Always
An Azure Sky

They say the color of the sky
when it's at it's most blue in the day
when all the clouds are distant
when you look straight up
that color is azure blue
a pastel yet bold color
that can be a happy glow
or the color of a brilliant tear
the color for people
who wear their heart on their sleeve

I think that color isn't for you

Your not that simple or open of a girl
Your not that common of a nature
You deserve a more unique color
the color of your eyes
like that intense bold yet bleeding color
that you can only see for just a moment
only at the dusk and at the dawn
beautiful only if you look as well as see
hard to miss once you realize it's there
but otherwise you don't nottice it is
that reminds me of you

I only live the dusks and dawns
a wandering shadow
that no one sees...
until they see it
then they can't help but see the shadow striding across the horizon
reaching for something they can't see
reaching up toward the sky
a lonely silhouette against that rare blue
lonely looking until they see what is really

If only they knew that figure with shadow-feathered wings
was reaching for the intense bleeding-bold blue
that resides only int he dusk and the dawn
that I forever live in
If only they knew
that both seem to fade away when the darkness comes
only because
they decided to slink away togeather
and talk
and confort one another
to speak of woes and all their sorrows
only to return once more
to the dusks and dawns
then to the odd daily days
-then they might understand our nature

Don't you agree?
Still looking for someone to dedicate this too
Fly Me To The Moon

Fly me to the Moon
past and o'er the swarthy sea

Togeather hand and hand
ll the worlds greatest desires
Alive in our Hearts

Fly me to the Moon
searching for a higher pinnacle of hope

togeather we can reside on pearly sands
and watch the world turn as we go 'round
Eventually more to come...well maybe. Honestly it's kinda embarassing to put this kind of poetry up but oh well.
