These large, expansive coastal dunes are home to Portland's FourWheelDrive and SandBuggy associations.
Sandboarding is permitted so long as you keep well clear of any vehicle activity and inform them of your whereabouts.
The dunes are very fast and have extremely steep inclines in some areas. Its a place where you have to allow a full day to enjoy the area, its HUGE!
