| October Asphyxiation is a four piece hardcore band from Moab, Utah with influences such as Dream Theater, Evergreen Terrace, Every Time I Die, Tiger Army, Fear Factory, From Autumn To Ashes, A.F.I., Remembering Never, The Dillinger Escape Plan, etc... The band consists of Austin Tyler on Bass Guitar, Derek Nielsen on Guitar and Backup Vocals, Patrick Peterson on Vocals, and Jason Denney on the Drums. OA formed in the fall of 2002 and has come along way since then... There have been a few set backs from injuries and members coming and going, but they are now back on track with a solidified lineup and a brand new CD. They are ready to roll and always on the lookout to play shows, which have been described by fans as unique and at times, downright sick. The music is no exception either, with fans stretching from Oregon to New York. They have even opened for such bands as Compound Fraxure. OA is determined to make a name for themselves or die trying... |
