Into the blue yonder..
On April 19th, we left on Air France from Kennedy Airport in NY to arrive in Paris. In Paris, we stayed at a beautiful hotel (The Evergreen Laurel Hotel) and saw all the sights. This includes the Notre Dame Cathedral, Versailles, the Opera House, Place de la Concorde, Place Vendome, the Louvre (where we saw the Mona Lisa and Venus De Milo), a riverboat ride on the Seine River, mass at the Chatres Cathedral, Chenonceau, Chambord, the Paris Millennium Wheel, etc. Then, we traveled on Monday, April 24th via the Chunnel to London, England. There, we checked into our hotel (The Hillgate Hotel) in Notting Hill, saw Hampton Court, Oxford & Stratford, saw the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, London Bridge, saw a theatre performance, and then went to Madame Tussants, the London Planetaruim, the Hard Rock Cafe, Covent Gardens and Picadilly Circus on our free day. It was a ton of fun and despite the exhaustion, it was quite an experience to be out of the USA for a while. They are a lot more lenient in Europe and things such as the male-female dynamic in Paris are very different. Nonetheless, it was an awesome time that no one will forget! :)
