CELLULAR PHONE ETIQUETTE
By: OGNEK
Things you should avoid or never do:
1. Walk the Quasimodo (Hunchback of Notre Dame) way, because of texting while walking. You might hit a telephone pole or even fall in an open manhole.

2. Showing off your phone, especially if you have a pocket or a purse to keep it, someone beside you almost always have a better and more expensive phone.

3. When surrounded by people, you call or text anybody just to show you have a phone.

4. Testing your ring tones in public or when someone calls you let your phone ring the whole duration of your ring tone, it's not cool but instead annoying.

5. Texting friends, even if they are beside you, people around you may think all of you are deaf and mute.

6. Changing the LED lights inside the phone to those bright colored ones, it makes your phone look like one of those pocket tetris games you buy at a "TIANGGE" or Divisoria. By the way opening the phone up may damage it and voids any warranties.

7. Using the hands free headset, when walking or sitting alone in public. Those who can't see your phone think you are talking to yourself or singing along a Walkman.

8. Texting or calling while inside the movie house, if you must, stand up and move to the back. People pay to get in, unless you paid for all their tickets, keep it quiet.

9. Judging people's social standing by what cellular phone they carry with them. Some go to the extent of saying things like "he's a drug dealer, that's why he can afford a phone like that" or "she's a GRO, and a wealthy customer gave her that expensive phone" .

10. Using a cellular phone especially the battery as a sticker album. Those metallic stickers may reduce the efficiency of internal antennas.

11. When you read a funny text message, don't laugh too loud, remember only you know it was funny, those around you didn't and can't read the text message.

12. Checking your phone every minute, to see if someone has sent a text message to you, especially when you are in a conversation with someone.  It is a sign of an obsessive compulsive behavior.
