A Few Minutes Away From The City

The water was warm as the sun shined down
The sky was clear, no clouds to be found
The birds were singing their favorite songs
As the rabbits hopped, and the deer moved along
The squirrels were busy somewhat
Gathering dinner,of acorns and nuts
The trees were in bloom what a breath taking sight
Where the doves lay still after their flight
A man and women walking hand in hand
Were enjoying the beautiful land
A cozy little spot on the ground
Near a lake they could hear
Water splashing somewhere near
They made some lunch and drank sweet wine
Enjoying each other with their time
They kissed and rolled through the grass
Hoping the day would last and last
They heard the sound of the frogs
They took swims, sat on the logs
But now it was time they had to leave
The beautiful sight of the country
