Because you are here, I am assuming that you would like to hear the story of how "Oidaho Potatoes" originated. I know I'm being repetitive, but it all began on the day after Christmas in the lovely year of 1996. (Yes, I know, I'm old.) All of my relatives had just left and my friends and I, at my house, were recording voices and songs onto a cassette. We were singing a song from our dance class when all of a sudden, the phrase "Oidaho Potatoes" found its way into my brain. The rest, as you can tell, is history! Ahh...I love to tell my story. It just gives me a high, sort of. Just to tell others the wonderful story of my phrase. I feel like I'm in heaven (hence, the clouds). Think I'm crazy if you want. I probably am, too. But don't I have the right to do, and think, and say, what makes me happy? I sure hope so. Millions of people did not die in wars so I would be depressed and never get to say or think or bask in the glory of my little beloved phrase. Okay, I think I'm getting a little carried away now. Time to stop. |
