Inu-Yasha: A half breed. He is half dog half human (DUR!) and travels with Kagome since she broke the Shikon no Tama. He believes that Kagome is stupid, and also Kikyou, but later in the series, another side of the half breed will be revealed. Oh.. and Inu-Yasha MUST die.. Sesshomaru will rule all!

Kagome Higurashi: A 15 year old girl that stumbled into a well and was pulled back into Feudal Japan. The Shikon no Tama burst from her body which made demons power hungry. People also think she is the reincarnation of Kikyou. But otherwise, Kagome is a normal girl who has a half demon for a friend.

Kaede: Kikyou's younger sister, now very old from time passing by. Is there any other way you know how to get old? She is a kind old woman, didn't we state she was old before?, who wants the Shikon no Tama to be safe and will do anything to protect her sister's ashes. Unfortunatly, she failed. Kaede is nice and sweet. Oh if only more people were like Kaede..

Sesshomaru: Inu_Yasha's older brother.. go figure. He has the Tensaiga but desperatly wants the Tetsusaiga for himself. He has a little girl named Rin whom's life he saved. He seems to be heartless, but the cute anime hottie must have a soft spot.. must kill Rin.. must take her place.. must be Fluffy's slave..

Shippou: A young fox demon, who is fiercly loyal to Kagome. He likes to tease Myouga sometimes but mostly plays around with Kirara. Shippou, I think, like Kirara and someday they will get married.. but that's besides the point. The first time Shippou met Inu-Yasha he didn't like him too much. So, that is probably why Shippou is a smart ass.

Kikyou: A sad priestess. She was killed 50 years ago by Naraku, disguised as Inu-Yasha, after she pinned Inu-Yasha to a tree with an arrow. Not much is known about Kikyou except that she says she will get Inu-Yasha back if it's the last thing she does.  Hopefully, soon, her soul will rest in peace.

Sango:  A demon exterminator, whose entire village was slayed. She was badly injured and was tricked by Naraku to kill Inu-Yasha, but now she joins them on their search for Shikon no Tama shards. She has a crush on Miroku.. personally I hate Sango and I hope she is killed off.. how dare she take Miroku from me!

Miroku: A 19 year old monk with non-monkish habbits. He has a soft spot for money, possesions and of course, pretty women. He travels with Kagome and the gang but is always aksing women to bear his child. Not the best way to say 'I love you' but okay and to all you Miroku fans.. BACK OFF!! HE IS MINE!
