About me? Um, I don't know where to start. My parents Cindy
and Phillip moved to Perth from Johor, Malaysia when I was 4 years old. I
have a sister Leticia, who is four years younger than me. I'm 19 now.
I spent alot of my younger years in Singapore, because we
have relatives there. My uncle, Jason, and his kids Brian and Nathan live in
Marine Parade. Marine Parade is a big subarb somewhere in the middle of
Singapore. They used to go across the Strait of Melacca to Johor, Malaysia
as the two countries were connected by that pass. I also lived in
Waterworks, Johor when I was a toddler, with my grandparents from my dad's
side, and dad's brother. This was a nuclear family.
I still visit Singapore, every 2 or 3 years. I love the
shopping there much more than Malaysia. Malaysia has the cheaper currency
and therefore you would spend less there, but the shopping atmosphere is
fantastic in Singapore. The shops are skyscrapers mostly. They are cleaner,
and there is a large range of shops in the Tourist Center, Orchard Road.
This road is a shopping dream, and I was told I hadn't even been to half of
the street.
After the age of four, we moved to Perth, Australia. The
reason my family had chosen Perth was because I had an auntie and an uncle
here. My aunt is a nurse for St. John's Hospital and my uncle is a Doctor
working in his own clinic at Dianella, Perth. The family lived with Uncle
Richard for a year, then we established ourselves and moved to a small flat
in Tuart Hill. I went to Yokine Primary School then moved to Camberwarra in year 3. My entire highschool education was at Craigie Senior High School. I am currently a Journalism student at uni. I've tried some other courses, such as IT and Economics, but found that was not my thing. I'm currently 21,
Craigie, as a suburb does not have a wonderful reputation! We are in the bottom list sort of. The Highschool was ok though.
