Girls Only 2003 Vacation
This year our daughters and myself deceided to take a girls only vacation because my sweetie could not get the additional time off of work.  What started out as a disappointment, I believe has turned into an annual tradition for me and the girls.  Our original plans to visit the state of Washington, along with the rest of my family was altered because of some unfortunate complications, but we made the best out of the situation and still took part in a mini vacation instead.

Beings that I am native to the state of Wyoming and spent several of my childhood years living there, it was deceided that I would show the girls some of the history apart of Wyoming.  The girls spent a week with their Grandma Linda and PaPa Bob this summer and our mini vacation started as I arrived in Montana to pick up the girls and bring them home.

Here are some of the pictures of the great time and wonderful memories we shared together:
Berkley Pitt in Butte, Mt.
Butte, Mt Trolley ride
Butte, Mt was once known for their rich mines.  Although the mines did close years ago, the town now celebrates as they reopen many of their mines again.
Montana
Enjoying a busy day over looking the mountains surrounding Butte, Mt.
Checking out the Mining Museum.  Of course the girls both caught their eyes on anything gold or crystal.  Boy will they have spendy tastes!
We had a lot of fun in Montana.  The girls loved their time with Grandma Linda and Pa Pa Bob.  Steven and I think they should take the girls every year over our Anniversary.  There is so much more to see and visit yet but we figure we have the next several years to get know Montana fully.  Can't help but love those big Montana skies!
See you soon to all those dear people we love in Montana!

Sitting up on the table in an old fashioned doctor office
Peeking through the windows of the pioneer gas station
The every kid beside a plastic horse photo.  lol.  What little hams posing for yet another photo!
Checking out how the Native Americans use to live.  Angel wants to know where her bunkbeds would go while Mika just wants to figure out where is the fridge.  They may have the bloodline but in no way do they have the instincts for this way of life.
Taking a break on the original style of trains.
I hope you enjoyed taking a look into a few points of interest of our girls only mini trip for 2003.  We had a lot of fun.  We also went to a railroad museum, dinosaur museum, Indian Villages, and had many picnics and walks along the way.  Angel and Mika are still looing for that jackaloupe as they are sure they will still find one.  We had a really good time and are looking forward to the 2004 girls only trip.
