When we think of Miss America, we think of one of the most beautiful women in the world. In this case, Miss America is a North American P-51 Mustang, and she is without a doubt the most beautiful P-51 in the world! With her red, white, and blue paintjob, clipped wings and seductive shape, and oh -- how she can move --- well you get the idea. After she served her country she became a civilian in 1958 for a price of $3,700. In 1993 she became an Okie when Dr. Brent Hisey courted her and brought her to her new home atWiley Post Airport.
We are honored to have Dr. Hisey as our guest speaker for our November meeting to tell us about the 2009 Reno Air Races and how our beauty, with Brent at the controls, dazzled and wooed the adoring crowd.
