Good Friday – Join us in Church at 1pm for our annual presentation of the Stations of the Cross. If you would like to help please join us for practice on both Monday, March 22nd and March 29th. Saturday, April 3rd Join Carol Louisell as we bring the joy of Easter to our adopted family by celebrating the resurrection of Christ with an Easter Basket. Tuesday, April 6thGeneral Business Meeting – We will be planning the upcoming summer months as well as fine tuning our committees for the upcoming fundraiser in June. Please remember to bring all pertinent information for your event suggestion. Thursday, April 8th Choir Practice at the Norton’s at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 10thKeeping Our Day Jobs at Moon McShane's in Burlingame 9 p.m. to 1 a.m Sunday, April 11th The Mass Never Ends, It Must be Lived! dancing with great music by Keeping Our Day Jobs. This venue will
be at Ireland’s 32 on Geary Street in San Francisco.
Sat. & Sun. April 24th & 25th Assist the OLA Men's Club with their annual outreach project – Christmas in April. If you are interested in assisting this worthy cause (usually the building of a home or assistance to a needy family), call Marilyn Norton (344-9273) to sign up. œ Sunday, April 25th Young Life Liturgy at 6 p.m.
Tuesday, April 27th Special announcement: Many of you know that our fundraiser last year benefited Dave Collins, who suffered from leukemia. We raised a great deal of money for his treatment, and he and his wife were very grateful to us for our support. Unfortunately, Dave passed away on January 30th. Our Annual Fundraiser this year is on June 26th, this year, our efforts will support Richard Louisell (Carol's brother) who suffers from a progressive disease that attacks the nervous system. We hope all of you will assist in this year's fundraiser and we look forward to your support in future months as we plan for a great event! The theme for this years fundraiser is Richard’s Ragin’ Cajun, a fun New Orleans Jazz party. Featuring a scrumptious dinner of Jambalaya, Salad, Cornbread and Dessert. Cost is $20. Tickets will be available starting at the April 6th General Business Meeting. Upcoming events Sailing on the Bay...Look for information regarding a day sailing on the bay which will be scheduled for a Saturday in May! Come to the business meeting in April to get the date and details. As in years past we have adopted our family from Thanksgiving & Christmas for Easter as well. Your donations of non-perishable foods, Scrip and Easter candy would be much appreciated. Please drop them off at the Norton’s by 3/30, or bring them to any of the events during March, and we will include them in the package. Please contact Carol Louisell at the next business meeting if you would like to help put the basket together and join her for the drop-off. Young Adult Center (Y.A.C.)
