Wednesday, May 12th Faithsharing
- This new faithsharing group will meet every other Wednesday at
7:30pm-9pm in the interim between RENEW seasons. We will focus on the
upcoming Sunday's Gospel with some discussion (hopefully by a priest or
nun). Then we will share some personal reflections on what that particular
Gospel means to us in our daily lives and faith journeys. You do not have
to commit to coming every time. We will meet at 1461 Balboa in Burlingame
(Steve Vivien's house), a block and a half from OLA. Tuesday, May 18th
Fellowship Join us at 7 p.m. in the Youth Center. We will view the
movie Lorenzo's Oil (starring Susan Sarandon) which documents the
life of a boy living with adrenoluekodystrophy (ALD). This year's
fundraiser beneficiary, Richard Louisell, has the adult form of this
disease. Come and see this wonderful movie! Bring snacks to share!
Thursday, May 20th Choir Practice
at the Norton’s at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, May 23rd Celebrate the
Eucharist! Join us at 6 p.m. for the Young Life Liturgy. All members
are encouraged to sit in the front pews. Monday, May 31st Sailing on the Bay
… Space is going fast, but there is some room left. This guarantees to
be a GREAT day. We will gather for a BYOM(eat) BBQ at the Norton's at
11am. We will leave for Sausalito in carpools from the Norton's at 1pm and
Sail on the Bay from 2-5pm. The cost is $29 per person. Hold your space
with payment to Marilyn Norton (Checks made to: 20/30s) Tuesday, June 1st General Business
Meeting. Bring your ideas and research for summer events to the Y.A.C.
at 7:p.m. Thursday, June 10th Choir Practice at
the Norton’s (1128 Cortez, Burlingame) at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 13th Join the choir in
song and celebration at the BI-monthly Young Life Liturgy at 6
p.m. Tuesday, June 15th Fellowship…7pm in
the Youth Room. Gear up for the Fundraiser! Saturday, June 19th Join the parish
for a Jubilee Celebration honoring Fr. Michael, Fr. Bertram and Fr.
Evangelist Kelly’s lives in the priesthood. Mass will be at 5 p.m.
followed by dinner and dancing in the Parish Hall. Look in the church
Bulletin for more details. Thursday, June 24th Choir Practice at
the Norton’s at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 26th Richard’s Ragin
Cajun Festival. Join us for our annual fundraiser to benefit Richard
Louisell and The Myelin Project. The event will be a fun evening New
Orleans style with authentic jambalaya, corn bread, salad and dessert
followed by dancing to the wonderful music of Keeping Our Day Jobs.
There will also be a silent auction and drawing. Doors open at
6:30 with dinner served at 7p.m. Music starts at 8:30 p.m. Cost is $20 for
adults and $7.50 for children. Paid reservations can be sent to Richard’s
Ragin Cajun Festival – 1721 Hillside Drive, Burlingame, CA 94010. Tickets
will also be sold after Masses on June 12th and 13th
and 19th & 20th. Volunteers still needed for

Parish Events
Renew – the spring session for Renew has ended and will resume in the fall. In the meantime as mentioned above we will be having Faithsharing every Wednesday night at Steven Vivien’s house.
