Sewart Oldale

Two Paintings by Stewart Oldale. I won't put any larger files up until I obtain permission from Stewart. I have been in touch, but have not heard back yet.

Oldale Pottery on Salt Spring Island - British Columbia, Canada

There was always rumor of a famous Painter in London who was an Oldale. My grandmother often spoke of him and her being taken to see his paintings in the London National Gallery. I have been in touch with them and they have searched but with no luck. Molly Oldale thinks her brother Richard knows more about this painter and her mother, Jesse Button thinks his name was Richard Oldale. Both Arthur Oldale Jr. (Son of Thomas Joseph 1st) and his son, Richard Oldale are very good painters. I have no examples of their work as of yet, but hope to have some soon.
