JASON'S BOUT
Right after Justin's bout, "its dejavu all over again." Jason fighting out of the red corner (sans jersey) versus Matt out of the blue corner. This heavyweight bout turns out to be a real exciting one. It is also a bit perplexing for one senses that there is some kind of history between these two fighters. If not, it may be local history in the making. This could be the match-up that people talk about, like Ali-Frazier.
During the bout, the fighters warily circle each other. Its like something out of a Jack London story. Two prospective alpha male wolves competing to see who will be the leader of the pack. The outcome will determine who is victor and who is vanquished.
Jason appears to be in his element. He looks like a fighter. Its like he owns the ring and sees Matt as a challenger to his realm. Matt, wearing board shorts, looks like a surfer who enforces the "locals only" rule at the nearby surfing beach--as natural at shredding waves as he is in the ring.
Punches get thrown, hard. Some miss, most don't. Its like watching Zeus throw lightning bolts. Thor could learn something from these guys. Its a tough fight to call. After three rounds, its a draw. The rematch has already been scheduled. Soon, real soon.
