A Time Of Praise, In An Hour Of Sorrow.

I had been listening to Woodrow Kroll,
(Back To The Bible)
He was, at the time, well into an eight week study
in the book of Revelation.
My friend and Buddy, Bandit, had Passed away
about the time Woodrow had gotten to the Millennium.
The day was Friday the 21 of July
And Bandit had Passed on Friday the 14 of July
As I listened Woodrow was talking of what it would be like
living during this time.

One of the Scriptures he read was
Isaiah 11:6-9.
"The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,
the leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
the calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
and a little child shall lead them.

"The cow and the bear shall graze;
their young ones shall lie down together;
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

"The nursing child shall play by the cobra's hole,
and the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper's den.

"They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,
for the earth shall be full of the knowledge
of the LORD as the waters cover the sea"

Here I really do need to stop and say:
God, in his awesome wisdom, knew there
would be people who would love and care for their animal friends.
Yes Love them with feelings no words could ever describe.
Therefore, He gave us a word picture
to assure us that there will be animals in Heaven.

If you think about it,
Why not?
After all they are as much God’s creatures as are we.
If he cared enough to create them for this earth
why would he not care enough
to invite then into his eternal home?

My Lord and God knew I would be needing to hear these scriptures.
Therefore, He led me to be listening to
this Bible study just at this time.
Oh sure I knew these scriptures were in the bible
but had never giving them much thought.

Of all the scriptures that Woodrow
could have brought into His study
the Lord knew that I,
Troy Windom,
needed Isaiah 11:6-9.

Thank you Lord!
I’ve been comforted by these words,
in this time of sorrow.

Yes I wish to thank you Lord!
for another reason to praise your holy name.

And I do!
