| MORE ABOUT OUR PROJECT |
| Our primary goal is to provide a positive and productive outlet for the many talented and skilled women in Moldova; an outlet that will help them survive from day to day. This creative project provides work and self-esteem for the women involved, something their country is unable to offer them. Our numbers have grown in artisans from 4 to 20 in just 3 short years. Within each stitch and each loop and each piece of chipped wood is a story, a story of courage, strength, faith and hope. We are constantly seeking donations of materials in order to continue our project. The following items are needed for us to continue: *100% wool fabric-either scraps of material or old wool clothing *Embroidery floss *Linen that looks hand woven, old or new *Old wood picture frames-any size will do *Yarn-4 ply In addition to the above project, we are also working with a Children's Hospital for much needed supplies. At this time, recycled parachute material is being used for sutures and they haven't seen soap in over a year! Their health service is in deep crises and they desperately need suture materials and catheters or probes for lavage of the stomachs of babies under one and of children 3-5 years of age.
