Aloha nô!

It was a pleasure to meet each and every one of you at the workshop.  There were far more of you than expected, and your enthusiastic interest in the language warmed my heart.

In that fleeting hour, I hope I've successfully cracked open the door to the Hawaiian language and culture for you. Hawaiian is such a beautiful -- and profound -- language, and your participation and willingness to learn was most gratifying.  I hope you will continue to explore it further.

Some of you asked about on-going classes.  The answer is "Yes!"  A dedicated teacher and very nice person, Aaron Imaoka, is teaching a Saturday class at the Carl's Jr. meeting room in Anaheim.  Info to contact him can be found here.

See you next year!  When you see me, be sure to stop me and ask, "Pehea `oe?"  That would totally DELIGHT me!

Me ke Aloha,
Aunty D
