Paddy couldn't finish the marathon because of health problems. He was forced to abandon at the 9th km. All he wanted was to finish the run, not to win.

Paddy will take part at a new marathon. It is about the 6th edition of the Ruhr marathon, which takes place on Sunday morning, at 10,30. There are totally 42,195 km. Paddy takes part at this marathon together with some friends. You can read an article about this, in media. The article is in German.

News about Paddy's solo CD:

Hiii

I´ve just finished the "Special Kick" tour which really was great fun. A true musicality-loaded-stressfree-goodpartnership-freedom-tour. There´s more tourdates coming up in January for this. Right now I´m about to finish the last 2 tracks for the long awaited Paddy Kelly Solo CD which will be released finally

in Febuary 2003 after several delays. Also I´m going to finish my new trio "jazz"-CD this month which features Steve Hamilton on Piano and Fabio Trentini on bass. I will introduce the new material on my upcoming US tour in November (check the dates).

Paddys first solo single will be released in January, 2003. Hopefully the CD will follow it.

Yesterday Paddy took part into a marathon in Cologne. His start number was 43. He announce his participation on 25th of Septmember.
