I got the idea off a friend of mine actually. You don't know her, no one does. Been talking to her via IM for a few years now and she had a dream one night. She and I were Jedi and doing the whole Jedi thing. That's where I got the idea. And I ran with it. This isn't your normal Star Wars story. This is a little more...gritty, I guess you could say. For once, you actually see Jedi in a more realistic light. They drink and deal with a few of the more normal problems of life, although they still don't use the bathroom (LOL!). They drink and the prince gets a little frisky and you have love interests between Jedi. A bunch of new things in the Star Wars universe, which I think gives the reader's a new sense of excitement and they want to read more. Basically, what you have are these two Jedi. One's an albino and the other, a Tybaltian, a cat-girl. You see them in anime sometimes. And they're polar opposites in almost everyway imaginable, from the color of their skin to the parsonality trait of which hand they write with. And they're practically brother and sister. That's how they treat each other at least. Anyways, you got these two and they meet this prince. Arrogant, slimly, and one rich S.O.B., he hires them for a job to gain him ultimate power. And so the two begin their journey for their own ultimate power, their path litered with treachery, betrayal, and deceit. Some fun stuff. |

The first thing I need to mention is that what you are about to read is not a story. I hope for it to be someday, but for now its just a place. When I sat before the white screen of the computer to write down my vision of the River Country, I really didn't have a vision of what it looked like. I thought, where would I want to be right now, and before me I saw trees, and flowing rivers, windmills, the huts on stilts, and much more. Suddenly, it was a bright and glorious day in the River Country. In all reality, I realized I wanted to do something like Lord of the Rings, I look at the River Country, and what else could it be but my Shire? So for now, due to lack or a story, I hope I can give you a glimpse of my River Country. |
