The question of the week is whatzz up with traveling in the NBA?

This week's comment or question is about traveling in the NBA. You have watched the games and seem players take an extra two or three steps, and the refs seem to pretty much look away. In any other level basketball from high school to college and the Olympics, a player will be called for traveling when he or she shifts the pivot foot. However, the NBA is entertainment first with high-flying dunks, fancy dribbling display, three-pointer, and if there is still time left, some serious basketball. Would you like the refs to call the traveling or would you'd rather be fired-up off your seat with that extra step leading to an earthquake, rim wrecking dunk? You questions or comments about the game are always welcome.
