Want List

* A game tape of the 76ers at Detroit Pistons from Dec. 23rd, 1983. Game was played at the Silverdome and the Sixers won by two on a last second Andrew Toney jumper. This is the only Sixers game I saw in person, where Doc actually played. A few months earlier, I attended an exhibition game in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Doc sat that one out "due to injury". The story I heard was that he'd lost his uniform and shoes. A few years later I returned to Detroit for his last game against the Pistons. He had been out with an injury for a few games and I was hoping this would be his first game back. Not to be. He sat out against the Pistons, but returned for the next game, against the Nets.

* Original game photos of Dr. J. playing in exhibition action with the Atlanta Hawks, in the fall of 1972. The Hawks played against the ABA's Colonels and Cougars, with Erving in the lineup. Recent findings suggest that Erving may have played 2 games against the Colonels (home and road) and one game at Carolina.

* Quality Dr. J. game tapes and game photos.

* Signed basketball cards (preferably in Sharpie), or other signed items. Julius "Dr. J." Erving or Julius Erving signatures.

* Dr. J. posters. Converse, Spalding, etc.

* Game worn Dr. J. shoes. This one will most likely be out of my price range, but I thought I'd throw it on the list anyhow. I might win the lottery and you might need a kidney...some day.
