My Return

My Return

So here I am,

I'm back again,

Back to your love,

Back to the den.

I've long been gone,

With things of wrong,

The world's in pain,

Describes this song.

While off a'roam,

I urned for home,

Now I return,

And speak my poem.

Lay down my knife,

To end this strife,

My heart does burn,

To remake life.

Oh here I am,

Back to our land,

But I've become,

Exiled and banned.

What's happened here?

I find my peers,

Living sorrowfully,

Under hate and fear.
