The Stupid Ray
Suddenly, the board is pulled from under the 'coons' paws. He falls a short distance, and the rope tightens around his neck. Boom! suddenly he is falling again. He lands on the floor with an indignat "oof". Six other 'yotes ride in on bikes, firing off guns like poping the bubbles in bubble wrap. All the surrounding creatures, until now unnoticed by the 'coon drop like rain. The 'coon is swept up by a large, rather scruffy looking 'yote, and driven away with. Later, back at base, He has a chance to question the 'yotes. They reply that he was a scientist involved in a secret weapons project designed to nutralize the threat of a nearby species no a not-so-nearby planet. The weapon, when fired, puts all of a planets' inhabitants into a primitive state of mind, making them all want to kill each other. However, they can remember and know how to use all technology given to them. This is used to help destroy the species! quicker. At first they band together in groups, like the one he is captured by, and then they will kill each other off. The 'coon is the only one smart enough to work the machine, and reverse the effects of an accidental missfire. The 'yotes were protected from the blast because they had snuck into the lap in hopes to steal some expensive equipment, but realized what happened, and saved the 'coon. The 'coon, however, hit his head on a rock, and has amnesia, therefore cannot remember how to work the machinerey. Is his attempt to save the planet, he fires a secondary blast, furtherly sending the planet's inhabitants to insanity. The beam reflects a pocket of gas cloud, and reflected to a planet called earth. on the planet, however, it has no effect on it's species. They are already too primitive and stupid for it to have any effect. The two planets eventually die, and the original target planet, which happens to be f! ull of anthro otters, is the only planet to survive. Wh! y was this planet the target? Because everyone was jealous of the species' ability to have fun, play all day, and still out-produce all of the other planets' hard working species's. In the end, the Otters took over the universe, and force everyone to have fun, and become easily distracted. The end.
