About me...
A biography for those who care
Hello! If you’ve clicked on this by mistake, too bad, now you have to read it! Just kidding- now read.
As the home page said, I’m Jeannette Field (okay, you would have had to figure out the Field part) and I created this site so that my friends and family can keep track of what’s going on in our family (some people actually care- it’s amazing I know!) And to quote Jon Winokur (as quoted in The Non-Desinger’s Web Book):
“Andy Wharhol was wrong:
in the future everyone won’t be famous for 15 minutes. But everyone will have their own website.”
I was born on Long Island, N.Y.  USA –1968, and married a Canadian in 1992 (I was a child bride :)), and moving to The Great White North (Canada)- which I love. Yeah socialized medicine!
In between I earned a degree (B.S.) in History (really useful, I know) from Long Island University/C.W. Post College, Class of 1990.  Unfortunately, since having children most of what I learned has been replaced by the words to “I Love You, You Love Me” and how to make your own Play-Dough, but lucky for me I am a bibliophile (def. 1. A lover of books.  2.A collector of books.). I just hope that someday I’ll have the time to read all the books I own.
I also love shoes. Looooooove shoes! A cartoon I read once said “Shoes are like chocolate for the feet.” I couldn’t agree more.  But why is it that I can own 10 pairs of shoes, but never have a pair that goes with anything I wear? One of life’s great mysteries, I guess.
My other hobbies/ interests include baking, stained glass (I took a course at Sheridan College), aromatherapy (an offshoot of my perfume creating days), MasterCook stuff, creating webpages, and graphics. My poor husband had to shell out for a scanner (HP ScanJet 6200c), color printer (HP PhotoSmart p1000), and a graphics tablet (Wacom Intuos). For My birthday in 2001 Tim gave me a Fuji FinePix 1400 digital camera! What a guy!
Well, that's a very small thumbnail of me. I'd like to think that I'm more complex than this, but somehow I think I'm not. :| But one more thing:  I love my husband. Very much. So there.
