  1              pound  ziti pasta -- uncooked, any piece- type of pasta
  1              pound  lean ground beef
  1             medium  onion -- chopped
  1              pound  ricotta cheese
  1                jar  pasta sauce -- your favorite brand
     1/2         pound  mozzarella cheese -- shredded, divided

1. Preheat oven to 400°. 

2. Boil pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain.

3. While pasta is boiling, scramble fry onion and ground beef. Drain.

4. In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, pasta sauce, beef/onion mix, 1/2 the mozzarella cheese, and the pasta. Combine throughly and pour into a greased large cassarole dish. 

5. Top with remaining cheese and tightly tent with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes, remove foil and bake for 10 more or until done. EAT!
