  2          teaspoons  vegetable oil
  1 1/3    tablespoons  sugar -- 1 tbs + 1 tsp
  1           teaspoon  dijon mustard
     1/4      teaspoon  salt
     1/4      teaspoon  ground white pepper
  4               cups  cabbage -- chopped (or packaged slaw mix)
     1/4           cup  onion -- chopped

1. Combine first 6 ingredients; stir well with a wire whisk.

2. Combine slaw mix (or cabbage) and onion in a bowl; pour dressing mixtures over slaw, and toss gently. Cover and chill.
