Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ ---------------------------------
1/2 pound extra lean ground beef
     1/2 pound lean ground turkey
  1 onion -- chopped
1 tablespoon egg substitute -- OR 1 egg
                        pepper, to taste

1. Preheat oven to 425 deg.

2. Beat egg in bowl if using real egg. If not, ignore this step.

3. Place chopped onion and egg (substitute) in a bowl and add the meats. Mix with hands (you'll get a better consistency).

4. Cover a roasting rack with aluminum foil (slice slits into the foil to drain the fat below), and spray with nonstick cooking spray.

5. Shape into a flat-ish mound on the rack and cover it with foil. Bake in oven for 45 min.

6. After 45 minutes, uncover the meatloaf and let bake until brown, or switch to the "broil" setting and broil until lightly crispy.

NOTES : When I worked this out based on the ingredients I used (and not MasterCook), I got a point value of 4.875 for 1/4th of the meatloaf using egg substitute and a value of 5.25 for 1/4th using a real egg. Based on MasterCook values it's 5.586 points for 1/4th using the egg substitute and 5.89 points for 1/4th using a real egg. You get to choose the points you use for it!
