Jr. Dragsters are 1/2 scale Dragsters, 150in. wheel base maxium. They are powered by 5hp Briggs&Stratton engines, some highly modified. Devloped and exhibited in 1992 they began racing in 1993, Jr. Dragster racing quickly became popular and has continued to grow and evolve.
Jr. Dragsters in NHRA, Compete on a 1/8th mile course and are limited to 7.90et's and a maxium speed of 85 mph. There are other ET and speed limits for diffrent age groups. The Jr. Drag Racing Leage is for racers ages 8-17.
