| Information on the Anderson line taken from a family history written by Edith Anderson Combs in 1980: "William R. and Nannie Anderson lived on Beaver Creek in Sullivan County, TN in the dwelling of his father. His father deeded to him the dwelling and 130 acres of land in 1880. In 1891, he sold this property and moved to Reedy Creek Road at a location about 2 miles east of Three Springs, Washington County, VA, and lived in residence of his sister, Harriet Rhea, widow of Isaac Rhea. " |
