| Jacob migrated to Caldwell Co., Missouri from Washington Co.,VA before 1840 according to one researcher. She bases her findings on the 1850 census (and later ones) taken in that county. This tree branch is her work: I am just presenting it for your information and comments. She has several good hunches.....one puts William Stuffle in this family instead of Abraham and Elizabeth's where he had been placed originally. We'd like to hear your hunches too! | William Stuffel was listed on this site as a child of Abraham and Elizabeth, but Sharon makes an excellent case for moving him to Jacob's family. The dates match up better. Does this make it a true family representation? NO. We are making some assumptions and choosing the most reasonable place for him to be. His name is not listed anywhere as a family member, but census records include a male of his age and location. Please note he is a possible (maybe even probable)....but not a proven son of Jacob. |

| Sarah Stuffel is listed as marrying Isaac Moore. According to family descendants, she married a Moore and lived her entire life in the Bristol, TN area. Her date of birth and census records have her at the right age to be the Sarah Stuffel who married Isaac in Washington Co, VA in 1850. |
