Mrs.
E. Turner
BURIED
THURSDAY
Oconee,
Sept. 24--Mrs. Elizabeth Turner aged sixty-eight years died at her home
at Nokomis Tuesday after a lingering illness resulting from the flu
about two years ago. She was born in Hancock County, Tenn, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Ramsey. She was united in marriage to A.
P. Turner of Indiana. They had no children but raised a girl that grew
to womanhood, Delta Turner the wife of Fred Williams living near
Ramsey. Mr. and Mrs. Turner for many years were residents of
Oconee and vicinity, where she was held in high esteem. Her
husband and one brother, Cowan Ramsey of Reed Springs, Mo., also one
sister, Mrs. Rachel Brewer of Springfioed, Mo., and a niece at
Logansport, Ind,. survive her beside a host of other relatives and
friends.
The
funeral was held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Dude Undertaking parlors at
Nokomis Interment took place in the tennessee cemtery five miles south
west of Oconee.

Anderson
The
infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Anderson, New Oxford R @, died
Thursday evening at the Warner hospital. Surviving are the parents, the
following brothers and sisters, Julia, Pauline, Grace, Earl, Fern,
Naomi, Charles and Dorothy, at home; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Anderson, Hancock county, Tenn., and the maternal
grandmother, Mrs. Susan Buttery. Interment Saturday.
