A Mothers Love |
A mother's love; a whisper of dove, a gentle touch, turns your little into much. Colors in a rainbow sky, answers to your questions why. A light through dark mist yonder bright, a rock of safety in the night. Prima Donna of your eye, soothing melody of a lullaby. A mother's love shall never part, nestled deep within love's heart. Momma knows her little girls tears, for Momma lived through sorrow's years. So dry your eyes, for Momma's love taught you well and rests in Heaven above. Momma's love fulfilled God's purpose. Heaven has called her home to rest. On the breath of Heaven she soared. Arms awaiting you just beyond the door. © 2002 Karen Davies Authors Comment ~ This poem was dedicated to two cyber friends who's mothers past away in August 2002. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers Rene and Josete. Stay strong and God bless you. |
