I've walked a road...one called life,
..and faced what it must give...
Found lots of wonder in the years,
..that I've been blessed to live!
Spent more time with one lady than,
..I spent with any other...
And I thank God so very much,
..because she is my mother!
She is my Mom...a lady who,
..was there when I arrived...
Someone whose love and tenderness,
..has helped me to survive!
From that first day...so long ago,
..that saw my life begin...
Not only was she Mom to me,
..she was my first best friend!
So Mama, thanks for all you are,
..we're close to one another...
I am proud to be your son,
..and thankful you're my Mother!
