DEAR DAD, I FEEL SO LOST, NOW THAT YOU ARE GONE..... I CAN HARDLY REMEMBER US SINGING THAT SONG. YOU REMEMBER THAT ONE? I JUST KNOW YOU DO. I WISH I COULD CALL AND SING IT TO YOU. I MISS YOU SO MUCH, MY HEART IS SO BROKEN. I KNOW YOU UNDERSTAND WITHOUT A WORD BEING SPOKEN. WHAT WILL I DO ON THIS FATHER'S DAY DAD? I KNOW YOU DON'T WANT ME TO BE TERRIBLY SAD. I WILL WAKE UP THAT MORNING AND SING YOU OUR SONG. IF I CRY THROUGH IT I KNOW IT WON'T BE WRONG. BUT JUST FOR TONIGHT, I WILL WRITE IT TO YOU. I WILL HOPE THAT YOU SEE IT, THAT GOD LET YOU THROUGH. © Peaches 05 Apr 2003 _______________________________________ _________________________________ |
I JUST CALLED TO SAY I LOVE YOU No New Years Day to celebrate, No chocolate covered candy hearts to give away, No first of spring, no song to sing, In fact, here's just another ordinary day. No April rain, no flowers' bloom, No wedding Saturday within the month of June. But what it is is something true Made up of these three words that I must say to you. chorus: I just called to say I love you; I just called to say how much I care; I just called to say I love you, And I mean it from the bottom of my heart. No summer's high, no warm July, No harvest moon to light one tender August night, No autumn breeze, no falling leaves, Not even time for birds to fly to southern skies. No Libra sun, no Halloween, No giving thanks for all the Christmas joy you bring, But what it is, tho' old, so new, To fill your heart like no three words could ever do. Thanks Stevie Love, Peaches __________________________________ ___________________________ |
