Where love and romance linger
Within the heart of man

As I sat by the sea
It's melody is magical
It's lyrics warm and sweet
I wrote it at the dawning
A gay romantic tune
It really is a lovely piece
May I share it with you

For romance is my soul
An intense and deep emotion
I've carried oh so long
It fills my very being
It's passionate and true
I've so much yet to give my dear
May I share it with you

I have a wondrous secret
I've told it to no one
I keep it safe within my heart
It's mine and mine alone
I wished upon a star last night
And if my wish comes true
We two shall walk as one someday
