Shackles of Silver
Though he walked freely...
..through the streets of the city,
in his heart sin had planted a seed!
Though there were no chains...
..binding this Judas...
his heart still was shackled by greed!

Shackled by greed...
..for the love of the jingle...
he sold his dear Master that day!
I must believe...
..too late he regretted...
as soldiers led Jesus away!

Yes, shackled and bound...
..by his heart's love of money...
dark were the plans that he laid!
No chains of iron...
..rather shackles of silver...
oh, what a price Judas paid!
