Sweet Visions Of Your Face

My dearest darling sweetheart
How long now has it been
A century a million years
What a dreadful sin
Deprived of your sweet visage
Your lovely charm and grace
Alone tonight within my world
With visions of your face

A loathsome void of emptiness
Now betwixt we two
Alas my love there's nothing else
Perhaps a dream or two
I stare into the darkness
Beyond the realm of space
Searching now for images
Visions of you face

My soul is as a wide expanse
An endless sea of pain
I've nothing left
It's all but gone
Except my memories
I reach forth into nothingness
To long forgotten days
Searching for my fondest dream
A vision of your face
