May 29- What an adventure so far.  We had to change plans at the last minute because of the way me and Megan dressed, but it was good, because we got to stop in and say hi to my family.  Then yesterday we left Chicago and we got into Business class.  Whoa, all I have to say is, I do'nt think I will ever fly in the low class again.  We were so amazed.  Personal TV's, drinks, towels.  Crazy I, tell you.  But it was cool.  So then this morning we got here into London.  It is a little cold though.  Our hostel, isn't the best but is in a nice area.  It's across the street from Kennsington Gardens.  So this morning we took the tube to the London Eye, and it was really cool, although I have done that before.  For those of you that don't know what that is, it is a huge ferris wheel.  It was pretty cool to see all of London.  So yeah.  We got some sandwhiches to eat afterwards and headed back to our hostel.  We took a short nap, and now we are here writing in our journals.  We are going to go to Piccadilly Circus and walk around and get something to eat and just watch London before our eyes.   We are really excited to be here, even though we are jet lagged!  Talk to you soon!

May 31- What a time we have had here in London.  We have done so much.  We saw the Changing of the Guards at Buckingham Palace.  Then we saw it somewhere else too, and I was actually part of it.  It was fun!  We saw Big Ben, Tower Bridge and Blue Man Group.  That was actually my second time seeing that show.  Amazing!  When we came out this lady told me I needed a new hair style and gave me a style magazine.  It was funny.  It was cold.  I enjoyed our hotel in Picadilly Circus.  What a really cool place to be.  We are about to head over to Berlin.  It's exciting, this is where the adventure really begins.

June 2-  Yesterday we arrived in Berlin.  What a scary place.  Everyone is depressed and no one smiles and just gives you a wierd look.  We did meet a few nice people however.  The semi-drunk man was probally the nicest at the laundrymat.  The lady at McDonalds was nice too.  It was just so tiring to be depressed all day.  I was totally taken back out of my comfort zone.  I felt like no one wanted us to be here, and all I wanted to do was cry. How sad.

This morning I woke up though and told my self it was a new day and nothing could ruin my day or experience in Berlin.  I was so amazed at how cheap the grocery store was.  We only paid 1.40ish in euros for bread, yogurt, water, and orange juice.  Crazy.  We did a lot of walking and saw most of what I know I wanted to see.  It was really cool tosee the Berlin Wall in person and not just talked about in a book.  The people are so much nicer today, so that's always a good thing.  I was kind of upset because my battery for my camera died and I just charged it.  Anyways, it's dinner time and we are about to go and eat.  We are having a great time.  It is fun to be here.
E-mail us because we love to read it and see who all is following along, and we will e-mail you back.

June 3- Well today is our last day here in Berlin.  What a crazy time it has been like here.  It was our first actual city where I knew it was going to be different, but I don't think I realized how different it was going to be.  It was nothing what I pictured it to be like, except the gray clouds.  Today, we kind of just took it easy.  Because there isn't a whole lot of things to do and see here in Berlin, and we saw most of it yesterday, it was just one of those kinds of days, where it's not good, but it's not bad either.  We went to the capitol building this morning and a really cool view of the city.  We also went to go and see Checkpoint Charlie.  I also think that my jetlag caught up with me a little, because I was tiered today, I also blame the weather, and me for waking up at 5 and not being able to go back to sleep.  So tommorrow we are off to Amsterdam.  How exciting.  We'll see how it goes.  Until then!

June 5-  Well yesterday, we missed our plane to Amsterdam because we were supposed to leave on June 3.  But oh well, now we are in Madrid.  Our plans changed.  So yesterday we arrived in Madrid.  It was so nice to actually see the sun.  Madrid was actually one the cities I was really excited about.  It was kind of funny to all of a sudden have all these people speaking spanish.  I think I just think of Spanish as a US and Mexico thing, but itīs not.  But when we arrived on to our place where Nana booked us, she was there.  It was really cool to see someone I knew in a differnt country that didnīt travel with me to there.  So last night we kind of just walked around and people watched.  And then headed back to the apartment.  Itī a really nice apartment.  We saw a preview of it on a website and it looked just like it did there.  I really felt like I knew the place when I walked in, which was really cool.  Then today we all woke up late.  I think itīs because of the sun and the way it doesnīt hit our street because the street is so narrow, which is really cool and is made of like cobblestone or bricks.  How cool is that?  Then we went to lunch and went on a double decker tour bus and went around Madrid.  It was neat to see everything.  I saw this valley, because aparently Madrid is on this hill or mountain or something.  It was really cool.  Now itīs already 8 o`clock and it loos like 5 at night in Arizona.  Crazy.  We are about to go get something to eat.  So Iīll talk to you soon!!!

June 8-  Well, well, well.  Where do I start.  I love Madrid.  It is so nice and pretty.  We have seen so mcuh and I have never spoken so much spanish in my life, even in my spanish class at school.  Itīs kind of fun. It is so nice and warm, well a little hot, but itīs all good.  haha.  So yeah, we were on this tour bus, and I hated this lady who had the biggest white head on the face of the Earth.  Boy, I wanted to pop it, but Madrid, would be under gooze, and I didnīt want that.  Then yesterday we went to the bull rink, to buy our bull tickets.  We are going to go there on Saturday, and Iīm excited.  We are going to be sitting in the 7th row.  Hopefully the bull wonīt jump the wall, because that would hurt.  Then the other day, I was walking down the stairs of our apartment, and the floors are from the 17th century, and they are slippery.  Well, being me, I fell, and went down about 11 stairs.  No wories though.  I have a little scrape on my hand and I think I may have a bruise on my bottom.  I just figured I would give every part of my body some type of concussion.  But yeah.  Itīs very nice here.  I love it.  Tonight we are going to the oldest restuarant in the entire world.  How cool is that?  Iīm excited, even though I have may have to eat a whole pig.  Well thatīs it for now, talk to you all soon.  Smile!

June 11-  What a time I am having here in Madrid.  I love it.  Well after the last time I wrote in here, we did go to the oldest restaurant.  It was very nice.  I wanted to try something a little different, and I did.  In fact I had the house specialty.  Roast Suckling Pig.  And believe it or not, it was good.  HAHA.  Then after dinner we went to go and find the Flaminco dancers.  We found them, but it wasnīt at all what I expected.  I expected to see the kind of spanish dancers we see in movies and on the pictures.  I think part of it was the place it was in.  It was still ok.  Then shopping has been a big thing here.  I will be honest, I bought more here than Megan did.  Crazy.  They have these plates.  I think I have 3 or 4 of them.  They are really nice looking.  I want like every plate in the world.  You should see these.  Then last night we went to the bull fights.  Was it cool or what!  I loved it.  First off, the fighters were on horses.  It was a special night, only every once in awhile do they use the horses.  But the way the horses moved and everything was really cool.  They ran all over.  The bull was funny.  I liked when it got mad, and moved itīs foot.  But unfortunatly, one of the bulls got the horse.  I actually got it on video tape.  I was switching my eyes from the camcorder to real life when it happened so it took me a second to figure out what happened.  But the horse got right up.  Then a fight broke out when we were leaving, I was putting my fist in the air and yelling, ĻJerry, JerryĻ.  HAHA.  But it was a fun night in Madrid.  This morning Nana left.  I thank her again for all that she has done for us.
