Today is 5/30/06. Today we went to the changing of the guards. It was really cool but at the same time it was weird. They marcherd around and played some music. The only bad part was that I had a large woman practically on top of me, that was really not cool. But it was something new and unexplainable..Then we went to Harrods. It is like the biggest and expansivest mall . I didn't get anything from there but I wish I did. So Kyle said that if I want to get something from there, that we could go back. But that all depends on how much money I have at the end. Then it was off to find TKTS to get some tickets for a play. We didn't go to a play but we went to a show. THE BLUE MAN GROUP. It was so cool I can't even tell you what it was like. If you havn't gone to see it, you have to and you can take me. hint hint.then we went to the Tower bridge. It was all lite up.
Today is 5/31/06 and we really didnt do to much today we got up and got ready when we got ready. The fire alarm went off but we still got ready and ignored it. We never found out what happened, we just know that we are still alive. we went to Big Ben it was big. Now it is time to go to the ariport. We are on our way to Berlin.
Today is 6/2/06 We are is Berlin. Now we got her yesterday. Yesterday was not the best day because we were tired. Kyle didn't sleep at all at the ariport but I did. I know what a surprise I would think it would be the other way around. When we were in the train I got poked with an umbrella by this old man and then his wife started yelling at me in german. We think she was teling me to wake up or get my feet off the seat. From there on we knew not to mess with them and that we were all alone, no one speaks english. Then we went to go do are laundry where there was this some what drunk man that knew a little english. So he helped us a little. Then we went to take a nap at 3 and got up at 10, got some dinner and then back to bed. Today we walked alot we went and saw a lot of things that we can not spell or say. It was a fun and tiring day. One thing that we also learned was nothing taste the same here. Water is sparkling nasty and there sprite taste like that too. Well tonight we are just going to hang out we might go to this big park.
Today is 6/3/06. It is are last day here in Berlin. We got up and went to the capitol building it had a very pretty view of all of Berlin. Then we went to find KaDeWe (a big shopping place) but we did not find it. We did find some kind of shopping place but first we had to eat something, so we went to Dunken Donuts. Then we went and got some suvoniers, and went in this nice church. It was so cold out that we had to go back to the hostel to get Kyle's jacket. Then we went to Check Point Charley, and to find something to eat. Then back to the hostel becase it was cold and raining and we didn't what to be outside in the cold. So then we took a nap and then got up to take a shower and call our families. Then we were hungry so we had to find the closest thing to the hostel. Guess what it was? .....Are you guessing? We went to dunken donuts. It was not so good the second time around. What I think about Berlin.........I think Berlin was a big learning experiance for me. I learnd that I should never make fun of people that cant speak my own language and I should help them out instead. As the days went on it got better. Berlin is not a place to come and tour. It was an experiance that I don't think I want to forget.
Today is 6/5/06. Yesterday we got on our flight to Madrid because we couldnīt go to Amsterdam. It was kind of sad beacause I really wanted to go to the town of Vreeland and see Amsterdam. But it was nice because now we have a nice apartment, because Nana rented us an apartment and she was actually there waiting for us. It was nice to meet Kyleīs Nana. Umm Nana seems really nice, and easy to talk to. We have already gone on a tour bus of Madrid, which was really cool to see the old buildings So far I think I like Madrid the most. But we will have to see as the week goes on.
Today is 6/8/06. Today we went to the museum. The Prado Museum. We saw lots of paintings by Picasso, and by other people. The one that was really cool was where there was a horse that looked like it was going the other direction, but then when you went to the other side of the painting, it looked like ti was going the other direction. Hmm (laughs) Then we went to lunch. Where we had some really good food for cheap, and I had yummy spaggetti. Then we walking aronud, and we decided that Nana and I, were going to get a fan. I got a pink fan. Now Iīm sitting at the computer. We are going to go back to the apartment and relax for a little bit. Then we are going to go the oldest restaurant in the world, which is really cool. And hopefully their food is good. After we eat we are going to see the dancers and Iīm really excited about the dancers. Iīll talk to you later. Bye.
Today is 6/11/06. On the 8th we went to the oldest restaurant. It was really nice and the food was good. I had chicken. What a surprise! After dinner we went to go find the dancers and we couldnīt find them, and I was really sad, but then we found them. The dancers were not anything that I expected. I donīt know how to explain it to you. I liked watching how fast they could move. Then on the 9th I think we went shopping. And went to restaurants. And then yesterday we got up, we went shopping again. We found Nana a lot of different presents to thank her for all she has done. We got her a card in spanish and we she gets home, sheīs going to ask her co-workers what it says. Then we went to the bull fight. I was excited when we got in the cab to go, but I didnīt know what to expect. Then we got there, there were a whole bunch of people on strike saying not to kill the bulls. Thatīs when I got a little worried. I didnīt know if I could handle watching someone kill an animal. The first bull that came out, I didnīt like it so much. But by the second one, I kind of got used to it. Then the 3rd or 4th bull came out and you know the saying, when you play with the bull, you get the horns, well the horse go the horns. So the bull got the horse a lot. And thatīs when I started not to like it, because I didnīt know what was wrong with the horse, so me and all the girls that were around me, started crying. But then the horse got up and the horse should be ok, but we really donīt know, but weīre going to say itīs ok. By that time I didnīt want to watch it anymore, and didnīt watch the rest of the time. So this is going to be the part of Spain that I experienced that I did not like. But I did experience it. Talk to you soon. Bye Bye.
