| Solace While he has gone on his travels It will be my time to cleanse my soul All those years where he promised to stay How foolish I must have been to believe him But love blinds us. I want to sob, I feel the sobbing within my heart But what good will the tears do? I must continue my journey to the Bath Spas And once there to slip down into the warm water Just feeling the rythmic flow from the jet sprays Somehow releases the pain. Take another look at me near the arbor So pensive but not really, as I feel an inner peace The pain has left and with it the torrential sobbings Truly my life will now go forward But love is blind.
