I have been a fan of the film "Planet Of The Apes" since I was a kid. Back then I used to use masking tape and Testors paint to make "Apes" mask and run around my New Jersey neighborhood like an idiot!. My special effects friend knew of my childhood love of the movie make-up and gave me these real "Ape" face foam appliances!! They where struck off the original Roddy McDowall mold. This picture of me all dressed up was taken at a Halloween party here in Maine a few years ago. It really freaked everyone out. The pieces are now put away as they have been used so many time that they are falling apart. (I did computer touch up the hair a little to cover some bald spots!)
