Biography: Paul was born in a somewhat of a floating
crapheap, something that would be considered a
ghetto space colony. His father was a good man, and
had taught Paul pretty much everything he knew,
especially his beliefs in God. Paul never really
took the religion aspect too serious at all until a
certain age, but he was very curious about
mechanical parts and how to fix them and install
them and such, because he was always watching his
father do this. Even though his father was a good
man and raised Paul very well, there was a reason
why they were in the ghetto. Paul's father had a
horrible drinking problem, to the point where he
would come home and beat his girlfriend (Paul never
knew his real mother), then end up apologizing for
it and passing out of the floor. Every time Paul saw
this, he prayed never to be like that when grew up.
Paul was around the age of 17 when his father died.
His liver had taken a beating for the last time, and
just gave out on him on the way home from the bar.
Paul never really found out about his father until
two days later, when someone had identified the body
in the alleyway. Paul never really shed a tear, for
his father had always taught him to suck it up and
keep on moving, because chances are if you stay and
cry, you'll be the next one to die in this
neighborhood. So Paul took over the family business
of being a mechanic for various uses, and also had
picked up some Gun Smithing, not to sell, but just
to make tools to protect himself.
After Paul had turned 21, he decided there was
nothing holding him to this ghetto, and stashed
himself and the cash he earned from selling his
father's shop, onto a travelers ship, not really
knowing where he was going, but knowing he was going
far enough away from that floating crapheap. Finding
himself in Blue Haven, Paul worked his way into
society by making a name for himself as a Mechanical
Engineer, and also specializing in Custom Gun
Making, though this was very rare, and he made sure
the people he was selling to weren't going to use
the weapon to go shoot people for no reason. He also
took up the guitar in his spare time, and also made some money from a few bar fights here and there.
