Alexandra Velasquez comes from a long line of Blackhawks. Her family has served with honor for over 150 years and Alexandra continues that pedigree with great distinction.
Enlisting at age 17, Alexandra excelled at Mech training and soon made a name for herself by rising to the top of her training unit and even besting most of her instructors in one-on-one combat.
After training she served with BattleGroup Badger where her aggressive style fit in perfectly with the Badgers scrappy nature. During a 'recon in force' operation against Clan Wolf in 3060 Alexandra came to the rescue of her BattleGroup commander who was under attack by three stars of Elementals and a Mad Cat OmniMech. Quickly taking out the Mad Cat she single-handledly wiped out the Elementals that had disabled her commander's Mech.
Following that action Alexandra was decorated with the Cross of Valor for saving her commanding officer, and the Crimson Star for wounds received during the incident.
